A show case of my kit

In the next few week i will be doing a photo run down of all my kit and what not starting with my tarp. Now my tarp is true north outdoors tarp.
The link below shows it for sale with backpacking light:

http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/product316.asp?PageID=112

Now what do i think of it? Well i think it is an ausome piece of kit that is trully universal and capable of many set ups depending on the situation due to the size which i think is perfect for me. To such an extent i am going to be getting the smaller truenorth out doors tarp for my birthday or christmas.
Now then something to note about this tarp is in the discription of it, it does say that it is 3 meters wide now it isnt it is actually only 2.85 the reason for this is the sewing of the center seem and the width of the fabric used.
now dont take what i said as a bad point cos its not it is still as versatile as any other tarp and i love it and will never buy anything else.
Now the one of the things i would say are that what u get with it as extras are ausome
they include

> 2 pole/paddle locater pockets with guy lines attached
> 8 alumminium pegs
> a water proof stuff sack
> a set of 2 normal guy lines

Now these make it really usefull and easier to use now something i have dunn due to knowing ged (the designer and creator) is to buy two more pole locators and add 2 more pegs from my own collection but that is purely for the way i like to set it up

so if you ever need a tarp that is bigger than your avarage tarp i.e 2 by 3 the one to get is this one

now the tarp its self is a silynylon material that is perfectly water proof and brilliant to use it has more attachment points than i know what to do with and has been well desgined by what i would conisder a true outdoors proffessional.
This a review of the tarp i have used for about three years and is also just my humble opinion so take it as such.

BushcraftUK

BushcraftUK is a website i am a memeber of and is one of the best forums for bushcraft there is and the people on the forum are great two. i have been a member since 2005 and have been to many bushcraft meets and moots. now whats the differance between a meet and a moot well a meet is a camp in some woods that a member organises for
other members. The moot is the offical Bushcraftuk meet or also known as bushmoot.
now whats eles is avaiable, well when the homepage is finally finished and is up and runing it will have a shop and will be full of articals and info for you every bushcraft need. Then there is the forum which is full of info and genral bushcrafty chatter. Something else i will tell you about the forum is that i have made alot of friends on this forum and everyone that i have met sofar are genuine people who i class as mates now if that isnt a good recomendation for a forum what is.
Now if you are sick of hearing me talk about it and want to join well the address is WWW.BUSHCRAFTUK.COM.

My new Blog

Afternoon all,

As you can see this blog has had all of its posts deleted and has been changed around a bit. Why? Well as part of my new years resolution to get out and do more Bushcraft and general outdoor projects I decided to re design this blog and to start it again. Before this redesign I thought it was a dead duck that was going nowhere and I couldn’t be bothered to change it. So as part of my resolution I decided to update it with all Bushcraft things I get up to. To do this I felt I had to start it from scratch and redesign it and this time make more of an effort to keep it going.
Hope you like the new look and are looking forward to lots more up dates
